When I started this painting, I didn’t even know what type of jellyfish I was painting (They’re moon jellyfish) but this project spurred on some research. Apparently jellyfish have the most energy efficient swimming method of any animal. And some of them can age backwards under the right circumstances. So that’s pretty neat. On our way to finishing this painting!
